|

I just learned that you can check you account online all day and even go in to see a teller during business hours and ask if anything has come through the account for the day and they will tell you nothing has posted.
Than sometime after the bank closes, but before midnight they process everything through you account while your sleeping and give you no chance to put money in your account if you happend to make an error with your register. Than they get to charge you lots of overdraft fees and tell you to basically screw off and stop messing up.
Does this seem an unfair practice or am I just biter because I screwed up???? _________________ If customers can only "bank" during business hours, Banks should only be allowed to "bank" during business hours. |

Let's see.
1. The bank has over 20,000 transactions per day.
2. The bank has over 100,000 customers.
3. You should be able to balance your own check book.
4. If you screw up, you excuse your lame mistake by blaming the bank?
If I were you, I would hand the check book to someone with more experience or someone who knows how to add and deduct.
You may not like my comment. But, the way I see it: It was your mistake. Not the banks.
Everytime you make a mistake, someone in the bank must take additional steps (read; work) to bring this error to your attention. And, no one works for free....especially banks. |
